Connor Sport Court Big Player in Sacramento NCAA Volleyball Events
Sacramento and Salt Lake City (PRWEB) December 7, 2007 -- Sport Court, the leading manufacturer in modular sports surfaces, will provide playing surfaces for the 2007 NCAA® Division I Women's Volleyball Championship. The events will take place Thursday, Dec. 13 for the semi-finals, and Saturday the 15th for the finals, at Arco Arena in Sacramento
"The competition at the NCAA Volleyball Championship continues to grow in intensity," said Ron Cerny, CEO of Connor Sport Court International. "We continue to develop our surfaces to keep up with the increasing demands of these high performing student athletes."
Since 1993, Sport Court® has been the official court provider for the Men's National Collegiate and Division I Women's Volleyball Championships. In 2005, Sport Court® expanded its relationship with the NCAA® to included playing surfaces at the Division I Women's regional locations and Division III Women's Volleyball Championship. Each host venue will feature Sport Court's Response? playing surface. Sport Court's continuous research, development and safety testing has resulted in a unique playing surface that provides easy installation, vibrant colors and superior performance.
Each year after the conclusion of the championship, members of the championship team will receive a piece of the competition floor. "I enjoy handing out the court pieces to the players, it is a great compliment to their championship experience," added Jeff Morton, Marketing Manager for Connor Sport Court International.
"The NCAA has valued our relationship with Sport Court. They continue to meet the high demands of the Women's Volleyball Championship," said Sharon Cessna, Director of the Division I Women's Volleyball Championship.
